And You Think You’re Cool?
Here’s a story from Peter King, the Sports Illustrated writer/blogger.
Seems that earlier this summer, New England Patriots All-World quarterback Tom Brady and Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning were playing a celebrity tournament at Cyprus Point. (Manning says there are way too many celebrity golf tournaments now: If your starting left guard has a tournament, you hafta go. And when your starting left guard is having his own tournament, you know there are too many tournaments.)
Anyway… Brady and Manning tee off on number one, and both hit mild slice/fades into the right rough, long weeds that border the practice-tee fence. But do they have trouble identifying their balls?
Nope.
Brady plays a Titleist 12. Manning plays a Titleist 18.
And you thought playing a 7 was cool.
